On-site ore analysis on mining site
XRF analysis is used throughout the mining process from initial on-site exploration and verification to laboratory analysis.

X-MET5000 and X-MET5100 both are simple to use hand held portable XRF analysers offering multi-element analysis with the sample analysed in -situ with minimal or no sample preparation. On-site or mobile analysis uses either the X-MET5000 or Lab-X3500 benchtop EDXRF analyser.

For laboratory analysis the X-Supreme8000 performs a similar task with the addition of a 10 position sample carousel for unattended operation, and an integrated PC for storage of results, etc. The sample is analysed as-received,
or simple grinding and pressing into a tablet. In some cases a fusion bead is made where the highest level of accuracy is required.
In all cases the above analysers ensure reliable, robust, simple operation carried out on a 24/7 basis
