Designed for the measurement of solid state Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR), Electron Magnetic / Paramagnetic / Spin resonance (EMR, EPR, ESR) and Ion Cyclotron Resonance (ICR) applications.
The TeslatronMR consists of a vertically mounted solenoid in a low loss cryostat fitted with a variable temperature insert. Each component is available with a number of options.
- Standard field homogeneity is 10 ppm (over 10 mm dsv) and 1 ppm is available.
- High homogeneity split pair magnets are also available on request.
- The magnet can be combined with a low temperature insert. Temperatures as low as 25 mK are available depending on the choice of insert.
LabVIEW virtual instruments are available for all Oxford Instruments electronics to allow automation of temperature and field. These can be integrated into a complete data acquisition system.

Fixed or demountable
- Fixed current leads are ideal for applications where the magnetic field is to be changed often. They are also optimised for low helium consumption whether they are carrying a current or not.
- Demountable magnet current leads reduce helium boil off when the magnet is to be held persistent for long periods.
