Some applications require optical access to the sample in addition to a cryogenic and magnetic sample environment. Our magneto-optical superconducting magnet systems provide all this and also adapt to your particular experimental needs:

  •  Spectromag®
  • The world-leading split-pair superconducting magnet system which provides optical access to a sample in a  variable horizontal magnetic field (up to 11 T) and low temperature environment (from 0.45 to 300 K).
  • Microstat®MO
    • A magneto-optical cryostat which provides a cryogenic environment ideal for sensitive optical microscopy and electrical measurements in magnetic field up to 5 T. This cryostat provides good spatial stability, easy integration with optical components and is also ideal for quick electrical sample characterisation. Uniquely, the MicrostatMO is a continuous flow cryostat, using patented technology to split the liquid helium flow between the magnet and sample cooling, and making it particularly easy to use with no 'bulk' LHe transfers required.

 

A wide range of window materials is available to cover most spectroscopy applications.
