TEST-MASTER PRO is a robust, mobile optical emission spectrometer for precise alloy analysis and quick grade identification and sorting of metallic samples. It is optimised for continuous operation, and is ideally suited for heavy industrial and fully automated applications.
The TEST-MASTER PRO can be used manually. It also is available with PLC-interface for integration in a fully automated production line. This “workhorse” is optimised for sorting demanding workloads within depots and storage facilities in steel producing and metalworking plants. The high resolution Multi-CCD-Optic’s readout system uses DSP technology (Digital Signal Processing).
The 14 CCD-detectors each have a dedicated processor that evaluates the data from the complete wavelength range in only microseconds. This allows the use of our dynamic integration algorithm (DIA) which dramatically improves the repeatability of the measurement.
To maintain maximum uptime and field reliability effective cooling is required. This is achieved by a revolutionary new secondary cooling circuit with its own heat exchanger. More conventional cooling methods blow air through the different compartments of the instrument, carrying dust, dirt, moisture and metal vapour into the housing. Even filters don’t prevent this completely and need regular replacement resulting in increased cost. The TEST-MASTER’s housing is hermetically sealed and absolutely dust proof. Less to go wrong means greater reliability and lower cost of ownership.

TEST-MASTER PRO is quickly and simply adapted to optimize every possible measurement task. Standard applications such as grade verification, grade identification or precise analysis are carried out using the appropriate arc-spark sample probe. Elements such as phosphorus, sulphur and boron can easily be determined by using an optional UV-PRO probe.
TEST-MASTER PRO’s exceptionally rugged construction uses a heat exchanger system without airflow through the inner compartments in order to avoid dust or metal vapor entering sensitive areas. |

The instrument is controlled and data is entered via a professional TFT ‘touch screen’ panel using standard WINDOWS™ based software. In addition, an external mouse and keyboard can be connected. Common interfaces allow simple data printout and transfer. In addition a PLC-interface for data communication for fully automated production lines can be provided.
