X-MET7500

The X-MET7500 delivers the highest performance and flexibility for the rapid analysis of the widest variety of materials

  • from parts per million (ppm) to percent (%) concentration levels.
  • Powerful light element (Magnesium to Sulfur) analysis capability ensures the correct grading of magnesium and aluminium alloys, without the need for expensive and bulky helium or vacuum attachments.
  • The X-MET7500 includes Oxford Instruments' X-ray tube and Silicon-drift detector (SDD).
 

X-MET7000

The X-MET7000 is the cost-effective choice for routine quality control and quality assurance in many applications

  • when determining elements in the Chorine (Cl) to Uranium (U) range.

X-MET5000 Quicksort

The X-MET5000 Quicksort is suited to customers on a more limited budget.

  • Ideal for basic scrap sorting and PMI applications Lead (Pb) in paint analysis in home inspection, and precious metals analysis.

The X-MET handheld dispersive X-ray fluorescence (EDXRF) analyser has been designed with your needs in mind. The X-MET7000's and X-MET7500's enhanced design provides total reliability, even in the harshest environments.

This rugged and rapid multi-element analyser provides you with the exceptional level of analytical performance that Oxford Instruments has been known for more than 50 years.

The X-MET7000 is the seventh generation of Oxford Instruments' portable XRF analysers.

Safety first

  • We have taken important steps to prevent inadvertent exposure of the operator to the beam. The safety system consists of:
    • Four fail-safe “X-RAYS ON” warning lights
    • Two independent proximity sensors (IR sensor and count rate sensor)
    • The X-MET software is with password protected and it has timed lock out
    • A trigger to activate X-rays
