The X-MET has a pre-loaded extensive grade library that is easily user expandable

The extensive grade library supplied with the product ensures that the correct grade is always applied to any given sample. Our grade libraries can be easily modified and extended by the user. This is especially important since of metal grades are defined worldwide and some grades can be local or manufacturer specific.

The X-MET has a flexible combination of Empirical and Fundamental Parameters calibrations for widest variety of alloys.

Oxford Instruments’ unique empirical calibrations can be traced to certified reference materials for an unbeatable confidence in results.

The integrated grade library contains:

  • Nickel alloys
  • Stainless steels
  • Copper alloys
  • Aluminium alloys
  • Cobalt alloys
  • Low alloy steels
  • Tool steels
  • Titanium alloys
  • Zirconium alloys

  • The X-MET analysers can be equipped with AISI, DIN or JIS grade libraries.

The handheld analyser X-MET is based on extensive customer feedback and offers many improvements, providing rugged on-site analysis in the world’s most challenging environments.

    • Built to withstand the harshest environments and weather conditions
