The handheld X-MET analyser provides fast, reliable and totally non-destructive analysis of all the RoHS components. It is an optimized methods for screening hazardous elements Cr, Pb, Hg, Br, Cd and more from plastics and metals. The X-MET provides rapid, non-destructive, point and shoot X-ray fluorescence (XRF) screening of

  • solder material (incoming bar stock as well as ladle dips and solder balls for Sn, Pb, Cu, Ag, Bi, Cd etc.)
  • plastic / ceramic components (Cd, Pb, Br, Hg and Cr)
  • PWBs (Cd, Pb, Br, Hg, Cr and other elements)
  • cables (Cd, Pb, Br, Hg, Cr and other elements)
  • plastic housings (Cd, Pb, Br, Hg and Cr)

The X-MET conforms to IEC Method 62321 and effectively tests for regulated substances at the compliance levels for all restricted elements

  • Tests lead and other heavy metals, such as arsenic, cadmium, mercury in consumer products
  • Test High-Reliability Systems for the presence of adequate Pb level in solder joints and finishes (especially aerospace, medical and military systems)
  • ppm level analysis of Cr, Pb, Hg, Br and Cd
