On site screening of heavy elements in soil provides remarkable savings on laboratory costs. Portable X-MET analysers accompany you to even the most demanding locations.

      • Define the extremities of ‘hotspots’ in seconds
      • Make location mapping and soil remediation decisions instantly - fast and reliable Go/No Go decisions using fully configurable Pass/Fail alarm feature
      • Use the X-MET also in benchtop mode if practical for you

  • Rapid & Easy On-site Screening
  •  NEW User Interface
  • Portable GPS Integration for Real-Time Soil Screening
  • Rugged and reliable
  • Genuine Accessories

Soil screening using XRF

    Single shot measurement

    • Analysis can be done directly from the ground or from samples in sample bags or cups
    • Laboratory quality analytical data is obtained by measuring prepared samples using optional benchtop stand. Handheld analyser can be converted to benchtop analyser and back in a matter of seconds

On site screening of heavy elements
in soil provides remarkable savings on laboratory costs. Portable analyser follow you to even the most demanding locations and you have fast and reliable analysis of all the heavy elements of interest in soil. The results are available instantly
so decisions can be made instantly. Pre-sorted contaminated soil enables you to minimize remediation costs and landfill fees.

  • Preliminary screening reduces the amount of actual laboratory analysis needed – No need to wait for laboratory results!
  • Sorting the contaminated soil means great savings in landfill fees - decision can be made in minutes instead of days
  • Preliminary analysis of unknown samples at the beginning of the remediation process  enables remarkable cost savings
  • Instantly locate and identify polluting elements and define the extremities of 'hotspots'

Sample cups and bags

 Sample cups and bags

  • Samples can be in form of soil, rock, dirt, humus, sand, powder, liquid etc. You also can analyse air particles on filters, wipe test swabs, equipment surfaces, coatings, vegetation etc.

Optimised performance

  • Fast, single-shot heavy element analysis: Pb, As, Cr, Cu, Zn, Ni, Cd, Co, Se, Mo, Hg, Sb, Ag, Ba etc.
  • Fast measurement time: 30 -120 second
  • Element range from K to U
  • Low detection limits:
The X-MET7000 can typically detect 5 – 30 ppm concentration with a 120s measurement time
  • Measures all 26 elements defined in EPA6200
  • Realtime averaging: Calculates averages of 2 – 50 measurements and saves individual results and averaged results
