Responsibilities

Management of technical support, problem solving for customers, remote engineers and other support desk engineers. Manage the day-to-day operation of the support desk, liaising with all departments to ensure the flow of information is complete. Provide technical input to the sales team to grow service contract revenue, upgrade revenue and spares support revenue. Customer Support order processing and customer care issues. Preparation of sales forecast and other data for the designated region.

Technical Skills

Degree / HNC or equivalent in an appropriate Engineering discipline. Understanding of capital equipment maintenance, including electronic and vacuum experience. Good PC / PLC experience. Clear & concise communicator. Highly PC literate, particularly in MS Office, Web based applications.  Ability to interpret Electrical and Mechanical drawings. A customer – focussed approach to delivering excellent service and improved accuracy. Organisational skills

Personal Skills

Self confident, proactive and customer focused. A logical thinker, able to work on own initiative and prioritise multiple tasks. A team worker, who works effectively with others and has excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to build rapport with both internal and external contacts. Eager and willing to learn, you must be able to work under pressure. You should be fluent in written and spoken English – other languages would be an advantage.
