EBSD Symposium 2014 - Bordeaux

EBSD Symposium 2014

This year the bi-annual Oxford Instruments' EBSD Symposium and Workshop will be held in Bordeaux, France on May 21st and 22nd.

The Symposium

Some 80 people attended the last meeting in 2012 and the event was highly rated by the attendees. This year we'll be following a similar format, with plenary sessions with guest speakers and speakers from our user community, and breakout sessions on hot topics in EBSD.

Language

The Symposium will be in English.

Guest Speakers

  • Prof. Elena Miranda. California State University, Northridge, USA
  • Cyril Cayron, CEA-Grenoble
  • Niels-Henrik Schmidt. Oxford instruments Consultant and Founder of HKL.

Agenda

A provisional agenda can be seen here.

  • Industrial applications of EBSD
  • In-situ EBSD analysis
  • TKD (t-EBSD) analysis
