Measuring Wax in Oil using Benchtop NMR MQC Analyser

Oils vary widely in their properties largely depending on their source. One important characteristic of crude oils is their wax content.

High wax content has profound effects on flow-ability and the propensity of the oil to cause blockages in pipelines and equipment. Routine measurement of wax content ensures that problematic oils are identified enabling appropriate changes to be made during their processing.

Our benchtop NMR analyser MQC systems provide a fast, simple and accurate method of measuring wax content in oils.
