Mercury Electronics

The Mercury range includes a MercuryiTC temperature controller, a MercuryiPS-M master magnet power supply and a MercuryiPS-S slave magnet power supply. The units are completely configurable enabling multiple power supply combinations.
  
The iTC and iPS-M units use a common digital platform which accommodate the addition of plug and play expansion cards to increase the capability of the Mercury control system.
 
 

Accurate

  • The MercuryiTC measures and controls temperatures down to below 250 mK
  • A unique proposition of constant voltage excitation option for accurate measurements at low temperatures
  • Temperature control can be integrated automated gas-flow control

Stable

  • Magnet power supply stability is better than +/- 2.8 mA for a 120 A supply

Expandable

  • Can control 4 temperature stages simultaneously and drive a stepper motor
  • Can control form a pressure input signal
  • Can monitor up to 9 temperature sensors at the same time (not scanning)
  • Multi-axis magnet control using 1 master unit

User-friendly interface and system control

  • Configurable touch screen interface
  • 4 remote access ports (RS232, USB, TCP/IP plus optional GPIB)
  • Complete system control with LabView function library
